Emryld Siberians of Shamrock Trails RanchWe work hard to raise the wonderfully loving and adorable Siberian Husky puppies. We sometimes have older puppies and adult dogs available for placement as well, so if you're looking for an older dog, please let us know. Puppies are available now! Shamrock Trails Ranch itself is located in the Santa Ana Mountains in Southern California. We share 20 acres of oak woodlands with our dogs and llamas, and we believe they thoroughly enjoy the setting. We plan for a small number (4-5) of breedings each year, doing our best to select a sire and dam that with the best prospects of producing puppies of equal or superior quality to both of them. Selections are made according to health, conformation, and temperament. We do not select for specifically for coat or eye color, so our puppies usually have a variety of different coat and eye color combinations. We do tend to favor red & white or pure white dogs with amber or blue eyes, so we often have puppies in those color combinations. Most of our puppies, however, still are the more traditional black/white or gray/white colorations with blue or brown eyes. Generally, one or two puppies from each litter is selected as show prospects. Our show prospect puppies either stay with us, or go to selected show homes. Those that remain are placed with with families that would like a beautiful, high quality Siberian pet. They're quite beautiful, and are equally loving and playful. Pet puppies are placed with families with a spay/neuter agreement. That means that their registrations are marked "limited" and they are not to be used for breeding. All our puppies receive the following care:
No puppy is released before 8 weeks of age so that they have adequate dog-to-dog socialization time. No puppy is shipped by air prior to 8 weeks of age. We request a refundable deposit to hold your puppy selection. Note: In 2005 most of our puppies were placed without having their dew claws removed. We expect that 2006 will be a better year for getting dew claws removed in time. This page was last modified on Sunday, 14 October 2007 |
