Benefits of the Ranch Setting

Our Siberians are raised at Shamrock Trails Ranch, which is situation on a 20 acre parcel at the south end of the Santa Rosa Plateau in Southern California. Here, because of the marine layer's influence from the ocean breezes and our 2100 foot altitude, our heavy-coated Siberian husky friends stay more comfortable year-round. We have lots of shade from dozens of ancient oaks, and shade canopies over all of our kennels.

Our dogs like to get out and exercise. Even though they tend to get a bit dusty and dirty when they do, we believe it keeps them happy and well-adjusted to give them lots of  opportunities to run and jump and play. Because of all this, or dogs have warm, friendly, inquisitive, loving, energetic personalities. We hope you'll agree this is a great place to raise Siberians!

We've now posted the beginnings of a photo gallery of photos sent to us by the families who now live with our puppies. We will post one photo per puppy, and include a reference to that puppy's page along with the litter photos taken when they were babies.

About Siberian Huskies

Siberians are extremely active and energetic. Although they are small considering all they can accomplish, pound for pound, they are the strongest breed of dog around. They can pull 10 times their weight on a sled, and have energy to spare. Because of this, you need to exercise them daily and keep their minds engaged. This is the best way to keep them out of mischief.
