Siberian Husky Breed Information

We love Siberian Huskies. That should be obvious. They're not like a typical fetch-the-newspaper type of dog, though. That wonderful independent streak and drive is often lethal (to the sibe) when they're introduced into a family that doesn't know what to expect. We're still compiling information to help you decide if Siberians are the right dog for you. In the meantime, please check out these sites as they have reliable data for you to consider.

Why is Rescue Needed?

Unfortunately, there are lots of people that find themselves in a real pickle with their Siberian. They try and try, but can't figure out why the dog rips up the sofa or refuses to obey simple commands. They give up on their dogs and turn them in to shelters, where more often or not they are killed.

If this describes you, don't kill your dog. Get help. If you still just can't handle your dog, there are options. Start with rescue organizations that are local to your area. Contribute time and money to help. We can all make a difference.
