PetTrac Helps Your Siberian Get Home Faster

The AVID Microchip people have created the PetTrac World Wide Recovery Service to help you locate your lost Siberian at any time.

Should your Siberian become lost, always have the microchip number handy. In any lost dog posters you put up, mention that your Siberian has a microchip implanted, but never indicate what that microchip number is. You'll want to make sure that you are the only one with that information in case you need to identify your dog at a veterinarian or shelter.

There are cases where Siberians have not in fact been lost but have instead been stolen, and where the fact that a microchip was implanted has caused the Siberian to be returned quickly to the rightful owner. Also, that chip number is your positive ID for your dog should there ever be a dispute over ownership.

These things happen. Protect your Siberian. Get a microchip. Register the microchip. Keep the address information on that registration up to date. One day you may be very glad you did.

If you have question concerning your pet's registration or need to make changes in your registration information contact PETtrac at
