Canine Genetics

We're re-entrants into the world of Siberian Huskies. By that we mean that Steve has raised several litters in the past with good success, but that he wasn't well-versed in the intricacies of canine genetics or known in any of the show circles.

Now that Steve and Kristyne are working together with Siberian Huskies, we're doing more homework to learn how to produce genetically healthy Siberians that will serve well as family pets and working dogs. We work to produce dogs that conform as closely as possible to the standard. At the same time, though, we try hard not to focus on only the fashionable lines in show circles.
