Emryld Siberian's Nikki + Cognac Breeding

This beautiful litter of Siberians (AKC WS104156) arrived on 22 October 2004. Mom is our Cognac, and Dad is our Nikki.

We expected this litter to be a mixture of black/white, gray/white, and white puppies as Nikki does not have a red factor. There was a mixture of blue eyes and brown eyes among the puppies because Nikki is blue-eyed and Cognac is amber-eyed.

There are seven (7) puppies in all. There are two gray/white females, one black/white female, two pure white males, and two pure white females.

All of these puppies will be placed with families with a spay/neuter agreement. That means that their registrations are marked "limited" and they are not to be used for breeding. All of the puppies will receive the following care:

• they are wormed with Nemex II beginning when they are 2 weeks old
• their first puppy shots will be given at 6 1/2 weeks of age, and their second shots will be given at 9 1/2 weeks of age if they are still with us at that time
• each puppy will be implanted with an AVID microchip prior to leaving our care.
• puppies are released to their new homes starting at 8 weeks of age.

Eye Color

We expect this litter to have a mixture of blue and brown eyes, because Nikki is blue-eyed and Cognac has amber eyes.

Availability

Puppies are available for selection by people on our pick list, in the order of deposits placed. Please visit the contact page for information on how to reach us if you would like to make a further inquiry about availability.

Pick System

Puppies are placed with families using a priority pick system. A refundable deposit is required to reserve a place in the pick order. The selection process begins at six weeks of age.

Puppies remain with us until they are 8 weeks of age. Frequent visits with the puppies are encouraged. Visits with the puppies are by appointment only. We do ship puppies by air when required. We do not ship puppies out of the country.

Note: dew claws are normally removed at 2-5 days of age. We missed our opportunity to remove the dew claws on this litter as well as the other two litters born at nearly the same time due to Steve's pneumonia this fall and the heavy rains in late October.
