Emryld Siberian's Chaka + Moni Breeding

The first new litter (AKC WS120998) of 2005 was delivered by Caesarean section on 18 January 2005. Momma Moni and all of the puppies are doing great. Dad is our Chaka. This is Moni's last litter; she was spayed when the puppies were delivered.

We expected a mixture of black/white and red/white puppies, with a mixture of eye colors. But nature often surprises us, and we got a surprise this time. Three of the puppies are white, three are red/white, and one is black/white. Only one of them is a female this time, and all the rest are males!

All three of the white puppies have liver points, which means that their noses are reddish brown, or liver colored. These are the first white puppies with liver points that we have ever seen in our kennel, and they are quite adorable.

We anticipate that all of these puppies will be placed with families on a spay/neuter agreement. That means that their registrations are marked "limited" and they are not to be used for breeding. All of the puppies will receive the following care:

• dew claws were removed when they were 5 days old
• they are wormed with Nemex II beginning when they are 2 weeks old
• their first puppy shots will be given at 6 1/2 weeks of age, and their second shots will be given at 9 1/2 weeks of age if they are still with us at that time
• each puppy will be implanted with an AVID microchip prior to leaving our care.
• puppies are released to their new homes starting at 8 weeks of age. For this litter, that would be on or after 16 March 2004.

Eye Color

This litter is expected to have a mixture of blue, brown, and bi-eyed puppies. Chaka is blue-eyed and Moni has amber (light brown) eyes.
