Emryld's Pet Placement PolicyAt present, most of our puppies placed with families by us go to pet families. We believe family pets are happier when spayed or neutered early, and that families are happier with the behavior of their Siberian Husky pets when they have been spayed or neutered early. Your Spay/Neuter AgreementWe expect you to spay or neuter your pet Siberian Husky by the age of 4 months. If you receive a female Siberian puppy and she is not spayed early enough to avoid an accidental pregnancy, we will expect you to terminate that pregnancy by spaying her immediately. There are no exceptions to that policy. AKC Limited RegistrationPet puppies receive AKC registration papers for your puppy that are marked Limited. This registration qualifies your puppy to participate in all AKC-sponsored events except conformation. If an AKC limited registration dog is bred, none of the puppies born will qualify for AKC registration. We do periodically review the registrations of our puppies to confirm that they were correctly registered. If yours is not submitted with a limited registration as required, we will file a complaint with the AKC and have your registration corrected. Family Placement PolicyWe want all of our puppies to be happy in their new homes, and want to feel good about the homes in which we place one of our puppies. We have no hard and fast criteria for placement, as we have found that puppies can be happy in homes with a single person, a couple, a family with children, a family with other dogs or cats or exotic animals, a home with spacious grounds, or an apartment with little space. It all depends on the people who will live with the Siberian — and their willingness to accommodate the special needs for attention and exercise for a new Siberian puppy who will grow over time into a Siberian adult. With that in mind, we spend time speaking with prospective family members so we can decide if their home will be a good one for our Siberians. Ultimately, we reserve the right to refuse to place a puppy with anyone for any reason or no reason at all. Our Siberians are important to us, and we need to be comfortable with the situation in which they will live. This page was last modified on
