Tenaja Area WildlifeConservation ProjectsThe Tenaja area is pierced and surrounded by many important conservation projects. The Tenaja Corridor project connecting the Santa Rosa Ecological Reserve and the Cleveland National Forest is one of the most important habitat conservation projects in Southern California. Many millions of dollars in private donations and state funds have been merged to create a zone through the Santa Ana Mountains where big cat predators can successfully survive in the wild. Mountain LionsThe natural predator at the top of the food chain in our area is the California Mountain Lion. This is one of the few areas in Southern California where lions still roam freely, feeding on the area wildlife. We're pleased to carefully share our new home with these wonderful creatures.
