Snow in the Santa Ana Mountains

The photos below were taken on 21 November 2004, at about 9:00 in the morning. We had just slept through a rainstorm, and woke up quite late to this sight!

The back of our RV was plastered with snow, along with some items we left on the back bumper

The item on the left is a bag of potato chips. They're going to be a bit soggy now!

Looking south over the meadow on the two undeveloped parcels directly south of ours.

The snow on the green grass and lichen-covered rocks make an interesting image

The photo is dark, but you can see the ocean in the background just below the angry sky
